The sun shone down as the Year 11’s in the amazing outfits gathered outside Golborne High School ready for their Leavers Ball.
The Hair and beauty salons throughout Golborne had been over flowing with pupils wanting hair pinned up, false nails, eyelash extensions and spray tans. They all looked amazing!

The night was a fantastic success with all the pupils and staff alike having a wonderful celebratory evening at the Marquee@JJB Stadium.
Awards were presented – Best Laugh Alyssia Scott, Class Clown Sam Robinson, Peas in a Pod Leanne Whittle & Leanne Sparkes, Most Likely to be Millionaires Matthew Geeleher & Cameron Spencer, Poser of the Year Jordan Clark, Most likely to rule the world Sam Gittins, Most likely to be famous Amy Burns. The Prom King & Queen were voted for on the evening and were awarded to Ben Eastham & Amy Burns (pictured) – very fitting as the Head Boy & Girl.

As midnight approached New York New York rang out and everyone filled the dance floor, final goodbyes were said and the Year 11’s boarded the coaches back to Golborne.
