An Introduction from
The Chairman – Peter Franzen

It is my privilege and pleasure to introduce ‘Grapevine Online’ the official website of the Community Forum Ltd. (Golborne and Lowton).

The Community Forum evolved from the Golborne Business Partnership in summer 2000 and is a not for profit genuine grass roots non political community organisation.In spite of opposition from some quarters we have gone from strength to strength.

We are now registered as a Limited Company with Companies House, Cardiff (registered number 4828644), and as a charity with the Charities Commission, Liverpool (registered number 1101617).

The Community Forum has worked tirelessly for Golborne and Lowton and in the past year alone has brought more than £100,000 of funding into our area for environmental improvements.

We have published the Grapevine, the official newsletter of the Community Forum, with great success since winter 2000 and it is with great pleasure that I am now able to announce the launch of our new dynamic community website.
